Not A Hero - A Unique 2D Shooter Game
Not A Hero is an indie 2D shooter game that was developed by Roll7 and published by Devolver Digital. The game is available on PlayStation 4 and falls under the Action game subcategory. The game features a unique pixelated style and is set in a world where a purple rabbit named BunnyLord uses time travel to become a mayor. BunnyLord hires freelance anti-heroes to get rid of the crime in the city in order to prove to the people that he deserves to be elected.
In Not A Hero, the player chooses one of nine characters at the beginning of each level, each with their own unique traits and gameplay changes. The player has a primary weapon that they can upgrade temporarily or until the level is completed and there are special weapons available, such as automatic turrets or exploding cats. Although there is no jumping in the game, players can slide into cover against in-game objects or tackle enemies. The characters can withstand several hits and health is restored quickly. Each level features different objectives, but they are all issued by BunnyLord.
